Beautiful raku salt pigs made by FARMERS’ friend, the talented Ben Shuckburgh.
These salt pigs were removed from the kiln at bright red heat and placed in containers of combustible materials, this has blackened the raw clay and caused ‘crackling’ on the glazed surface of the pigs!
Potter Ben creates his ceramics at Prysg Pottery on a hill farm near Rhayader, Mid-Wales.
